This is an interim assignment as Head of Paid Media to cover a maternity leave. The current role holder plans to take a minimum of 14 months of maternity leave to care for her growing family. The expected start date for this temporary position is as soon as possible. Ideally, a 4-6 weeks handover period is envisioned for a smooth transition.


The interim role as Head of Paid Media 

As the Head of Paid Media at one.com, you will drive the digital marketing strategy for the company’s top brands across global platforms. Your primary focus is to develop and lead paid media acquisition strategy related to paid marketing across Mass Hosting Group brands, with focus on one.com and the Nordics. Your role will involve managing a team of Paid Media Managers and Specialists, ensuring accurate program forecasts, and achieving volume efficiency targets.

 Key Responsibilities:

Paid Media Strategy: Define success metrics, develop strategies for group.one brands, and explore new opportunities.

Forecast & Data Analysis: Analyze performance, forecast budgets, and guide media spend decisions.

Paid Marketing Operations: Monitor KPIs, allocate spend effectively, and stay informed on industry trends.

Management and Leadership: Lead team hiring, training, and provide guidance for successful strategy implementation.

 Your background and qualifications:

  • Experience with promoting subscription models and understanding of long-term customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication abilities to present complex data, influence others, and build strong relationships.
  • Demonstrated sense of autonomy, ownership, and a drive to contribute to the company’s success.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Ability to lead informally and cooperate effectively across teams and departments.
  • Proactive in seeking out new information and initiatives.

Fluent in English, with preferably working proficiency in Swedish, and Danish proficiency could also be beneficial for the role.

Google Ads Expertise: Proficiency in Google Ads with knowledge of recent updates and changes across all Google platforms, along with recent hands-on experience. Certifications expected.

Platform Experience: Preferably experienced in platforms like YouTube, Meta, and TikTok, which would be considered an advantage. Similarly, knowledge of GA4 and tracking would be a plus.

Good to know 

This is a 14-month interim assignment, you will be hired by one.com. Depending on the market and the business over the next year, it might be possible to be offered a permanent position.

You will be primarily working from the Malmö office, located very centrally, and will be expected to travel to Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Helsinki and Dortmund periodically to meet team members and other stakeholders.
