Hammer och Hanborg söker Channel & Retail Marketing Manager till Tetra Pak

We are looking for a pro-active and result driven Channel and Retail Marketing Manager to lead Tetra Paks business relationship within retailers of food & beverages, and larger wholesalers within the food service channel across North Europe.

The role as Channel & Retail Marketing Manager
You will be the key contact across these channels, build and drive Tetra Pak’s channel strategy and plan across markets, and you will be responsible and accountable for driving long term profitable growth across the channels.

You will:
• Lead creation, implementation and follow up of the Retail and Channel strategy aligned with the Tetra Pak 2030 strategy.

• Lead, develop and drive the Channel Marketing plan aligned with the needs and opportunities across the main Retailers and Food Service wholesalers.

• Actively coordinate and secure business opportunities among customers and retailers.

• Lead opportunity management, cross-selling and up-selling promoting Tetra Pak’s portfolio through fact-based value proposals.

• Participate in the creation, implementation, and follow up of plans for key accounts in collaboration with the rest of the commercial team, linked to the opportunities across channels.

The role reports to the Marketing Director Market North Europe. Travelling within North Europe, up to approximately 30%, is required for this role.

About you, your experience and background

We believe you have:
• at least 7 years of Marketing or Commercial Experience, preferably gained as a marketing manager / category manager / buyer at a retailer or wholesaler across food & beverages.

• professional skills in category management, sales and marketing management and understanding of how to use BI digital tools to understand the market and identify opportunities.

• experience from a FMCG company or a Retail chain within food and beverages.

• project management skills and experience from a large matrix organisation.

• university/college degree or MBA or equivalent qualification in Category Management or the Marketing discipline.

• solid computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) sufficient for the role.

As a person, you are dynamic, structured and have a creative mind. You can work on a strategic level and take ownership of valuable management and execution of projects and plans. You have excellent communication skills, equally adaptable in written/verbal communication and presentation situations. You can engage people on all levels, and you can build valuable relationships with customers and partners.

Besides, you can demonstrate strength in analyzing data and formulating recommendations that turns into valuable actions. With your outstanding business understanding and commercial mindset, you can make numbers meaningful in the context of the wider business. Your strong project management skills help you to effectively support the organization in achieving business targets.
Finally, sustainability is important for you on all levels.

Language Skills:

Fully fluent in English, both written and spoken, and proficiency in one of the Nordic languages is required.

Good to know:

This is a full-time, permanent position at Tetra Pak based in Lund, Sweden.
A driving license is required for customer visits.
Travel within North Europe, up to approximately 30%, is expected.
