The Swedish Marketing Federation (Sveriges Marknadsförbund) was founded in 1919 and is the largest organization in Sweden for everyone within marketing, regardless of specialization or industry.
The membership belongs to a company, usually with the head of Marketing as primary contact person. The federation has more than 850 Swedish companies as members, from small to large enterprises and with a wide geographical spread. We also serve as an umbrella for Sweden´s 30 local marketing associations, see map, with a total of approximately 8.000 personal.
Our job is to support our member companies and help them succeed in marketing. We do that by keeping track of developments in legislation, education, new media, trends and technology, both nationally and internationally. We share information, knowledge and news through our website, our magazine Tendens Special and electronic newsletters. We give advice, inspiration and work together with different parties with the purpose of making the lives of Sweden´s marketing professionals easier.
In October, we organize a an annual conference, The Tendency Day. A full day event with international and Swedish high-level speakers and around 500 delegates.
